Typically, fruit dabai very easily available in Sibu and Sarikei. Apparently, this fruit is a favorite and no stranger to the people of Sarawak. In scientific language, the fruit is called as Canarium odontophyllum. The fruit will be soaked in hot water to soften the flesh and the fruit dabai, there is a hard seed. The flesh is yellow and the seeds are shaped like a rugby ball but triangular.
